Remote Desktop Manager is constantly crashing

Hello,

We have received a few emails this week from customers mentioning that RDM crash on their computers.

Some of them mentioned that they also experiment crashing issue with Microsoft RDP (mstsc.exe).
In most of the cases, the faulting module was Faulting module name: msmpeg2vdec.dll_unloaded. Is this the faulting module on your computer as well?
We have found that those crashes start with the update of Windows 10 to Windows 10 1709. Are you running Windows 10 1709?

We also found that the printer’s redirection may cause crashing issue. If this option is enabled, you can try to disable it

Thank you for the links. Unfortunately we already have printer redirection disabled but it still crashes. And yes, it is Windows 10 1709, all Updates applied.

Any other suggestions?

What is the faulting module?
