RDM version : 13.0.5
Cisco AnyConnect: 3.0.36
Issue Description:
Setup a separate VPN connection using Cinsco AnyConnect and the connection works fine. However, if I try to setup the same connection within a RDP session, the VPN does not connect - specifically, it does not respond with the correct response to "Connect anyway" confirmation. In my case, it is set for Before authentication, but it never transmits the 'y' to the cli.
This variation does leave me wondering why I can not setup the VPN session and just point the RDP connection to use that connection (very much like using the credentials repository). Or maybe it is available and I don't know how to implement it yet. That would be a viable workaround.

Hello,
It's possible to use an existing VPN session in your RDP session.
To accomplish this, in the VPN section, in the General tab, select Session in the Type field.
Then, go in the Settings tab and select your existing VPN entry.
This should do what you are looking for.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais

Thanks! That workaround worked perfectly. I guess I just didn't scroll down far enough to see it the first time.
Still doesn't change the fact that it didn't work in the session settings itself, but this is the preferred way of working for this use case anyway!
