Hi Guys,
I'm getting dizzy trying to create a new Devolutions Testserver with a not alphanumeric Web Application Name. Our actual servers have all non alphanumeric name, but if i try to create a new one i get blocked by the Wizzard telling me that the name must be alphanumeric.
I attached two screenshots, on the first you can see that three servers are using the "-" sign in their names, and if i try to create another one with "-" in it's name (to follow the naming convention) i get denied and if i create the server without "-" in it's name everything is fine.
Did this change in any of the recent versions or why can't i get this to work?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Hermann

Hi,
I think that we have added this validation to avoid invalid chars. We could allow the '-' sign

Hi David,
that would be great if you could allow that sign, it allows us to have a cleaner overview of the available sources.
RDMS-IT-Prod
RDMS-IT-Dev
RDMS-IT-Test
just looks cleaner than
RDMSITPROD
RDMSITDEV
RDMSITTEST
I suppose you get what i mean :-)
Thanks a lot for your effort!
Best regards,
Hermann
This is fixed internally.
