I get these, usually after RDM update.
Container folder doubles, one is written correctly, doubled contains question marks like in picture above instead of Nonenglish characters. (text in the picture should be "jče")

I don't get the big picture. Is it in the tree view, the dashboard or anywhere else?

It's in the tree view in the navigation pane. I think, but I'm not sure, it only occurs when data source is Devolutions online drive.

Thank you for the details. I will enter a bug for that. Could you provide us a fake Xml data source with the characters for testing purpose. Just add it as an attachment to your next post.

We tried to reproduce on both XML (your export) and DOD (by importing your entries), with restarting RDM and clearing its cache (Ctrl+F5), but we weren't able to reproduce the issue. Does it always only occur after an RDM update or does it happen sometimes without one?

OS language is set to Slovenian.
What version of RDM are you using ?
I update RDM regularly, last time I had this problem, was version before 13.0.5.0 (I just updated). But the problem goes way back.

Sorry, can't really tell. I stopped using Nonenglish characters long time ago for my work data source, so I don't see that behaviour much anymore, except with synchronizer, which is easily resolved by resynchronizing, and I don't look there often. I see it sometimes on entries from my personal data source on personal names (and correct text by hand). I guess it can happen without install.
