I am having the same issue after upgrading but I am using the "Classic UI (v7.X)" user interface. I don't see the Reset Layout option for this user interface. I switched to Default Ribbon and hit the Reset Layout button which made the Quick Connect box appear but it wasn't there when I changed back to the Classic UI.

The version shows Remote Desktop Manager Free 4.0.1.0, which shows as up-to-date when I do a "check for update" from the help menu.

I think that the reset Layout button was hidden in the previous Classic UI but it now needs to be put back.
