I have RDM Agent v1.1.0.0 installed on my servers and I was looking at upgrading it (but I don't see a newer release on the website). The website reports v1.1.0.0 available and the version installed with the latest RDM Enterprise BETA also reports v1.1.0.0 but the file sizes and dates are different. So since the reported "versions" are the same, I was just wondering if I can I copy the newer RDM Agent files (three of them) over to each of my servers to upgrade the RDM Agent software on the servers (Windows servers)? There are only three files to copy:
Devolutions.Utils.dll
Devolutions.Windows.Utils.dll
RDMAgent.exe
Do you know if I do that, will it break it? Are there any additional registry changes that I need to make?
Thanks,
STGdb
We will update the installer but in the meantime you can copy the 4 (yes 4 files). No registry keys or any other changes are required.
Newtonsoft.Json.dll
Devolutions.Utils.dll
Devolutions.Windows.Utils.dll
RDMAgent.exe
