Permissions and access issues

I am having the following issues pertaining to RDM permissions and access.

As outlined here:

No matter what I do, all AD users who log in can see and edit everything.

Is there a magic setting I am missing that will allow AD users to only see and not edit particularly assigned Groups/Folders (not and edit everything)?

Hello,

With the Role Based Security System, we do not recommend to combine it with Security Groups. It is very difficult to maintain such configuration. For your information, the Security Groups should be deprecated in a future version of RDM.

Could you please post a print screen of the Connection tab of the data source configuration (File - Data Sources) from one of your users?

I just figured out the issue was a result of the Data Source using SQL login and not Windows integrated. This resulted in everyone in effect getting SQL admin rights.
