Sync'ing connections and credentials between two workstations
Hello,
I'm looking to sync connections and credentials between my home and office workstations, both are running Windows 10. We have an enterprise license of the Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager. Our company has standardized on OneDrive so I was wondering if there was an automated way to do it using that.
I have read this article: https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/index.html?datasource_dropbox.htm
I will probably go that route if it's not available using OneDrive but it will be a violation of our corporate policy.
Thanks!
Hello,
If you are a single user and looking for a cloud data source to easily obtain access to your data from many computers, I suggest using Devolutions Online Drive as your data source.
This type of data source is cloud based and free.

Sorry I updated the original post but you're so efficient that you beat me to it. Our company is an enterprise user so I don't think I can do the cloud offering.
OK reading up on the cloud offering you linked. That does sound promising but does it only support the connections, or can it do the credentials too?
Hello,
You can save your remote sessions as well as your credentials in that type of data source, no problem.
Quick question: Are you a single user of RDM in your organization?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Yes. We don't currently share connections amongst our teammates.
Hello,
Perfect! In that case, indeed, Online Drive is the best solution.
Is it ok for you to use this type of data source?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
I believe so. I think the policy just prohibits other personal file storage locations (dropbox, box, mega...). I'll work on getting that set up this afternoon.
Thanks again for all the help.
