SSH Gateway problem

avatar

Hi, I use this string connect from putty, the gateway is record the SSH session and require LDAP authentication before the actual server authentication, I tried to add the <PSM IP> to SSH jump / gateway but no working, any idea?

<username>@<Server IP>@<PSM IP>

Hello,

Since this is not a traditional gateway, I don't think the gateway section would work as it currently is. When you tried using the gateway by putting in <PSM IP> in the gateway host, did you also put <username>@<Server IP> in the "username" field? If not, could you try that?

To confirm with you, you enter the command "<username>@<Server IP>@<PSM IP>" in the remote command section of PuTTY, right? Then I think if the first option fails, entering that command in the "after login commands" section of the entry may work. Something like that but with your own values:

Hi Francis,

which version do you use?

The mentioned After Login Commands are in a SSH Shell Session available.

The SSH Shell (Rebex) Entries are depricated, I recommend to use the native SSH Shell Session type. This post explain the difference (in this case it was a putty session, but this applies also to Rebex Session types)

Hi, I have latest RDM version now.

I tried the after connect option not working.

I put <PSM IP> under host and <ID>@<Server IP> in after connection.

Receive the error message

Hello,

Would it be possible for you to screenshot the settings you're using in PuTTY (the host, the remote command, etc)? We may not understand the issue you're having.
