I have followed the instructions for configuring PowerCli. I get no errors when running the commands in the 32 or 64 bit versions. I have the VMRC version 8 installed. Please help me fix my issue.

Hello,

What version of RDM are you running?

Have you followed the steps in the article below to properly configure PowerCLI?

Hello,

Could you launch RDM 64bit to see if there is any change?
Open the folder containing RDM, by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager, and launch RemoteDesktopManager64.exe.

When running the 64 bit version I get this in the log:
System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. ---> System.IO.IOException: Authentication failed because the remote party has closed the transport stream.

Hello,

Could you please try these powershell scripts in PowerCLI to see if your connection is working properly?
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/troubleshooting_vmwarepowercli.htm

Could you please send us the print screen of the Powershell script results at support@devolutions.net?
Then please export the entry without the password and send it to us at the same email address.

Best Regards,

Érica Poirier

I have tried running the powercli scripts you suggested and I am having no luck. Could the fact that I only have read access to the Vcenter server be causing all my issues? I will send a screen shot of the errors I am receving.

Hello,

@everyone, it seems that the Domain was missing in the Username box for the VMWare Console entry.

And the VM Name must be the Moref.Value obtained by the PowerShell script you can find on the online help page Advanced TroubleShooting of the PowerCLI.
