I have installed the browser extension but I am unable to save changes. There is really no "save button" for all settings and when I close and open settings page it is reset to defaults. This is Firefox 52.3.0 ESR
Hi,
The difference between Firefox and Firefox ESR is the default configuration.
Devolutions Web Login uses webextensions.storage.sync which is an API made for the web extensions for the options.
By default, this API is enabled in Firefox but for some reasons Mozilla decided to disable it in the ESR version.
As a workaround you can set to true the preference named webextensions.storage.sync.enabled in about:config and the extension will work.
We are investigating to find a better solution.

That did the trick. Thank you!
Btw, if using the DVLS (develtions server) should it be possible to use Web login without using remote desktop manager?
I can see the option but do not own DVLS so I have to get a trial for it. But it could be well Worth it if it works. Will this feature be in safari, edge and so on to?
Hello,
Indeed, using DVLS as your data source, it's possible to connect on your websites using Devolutions Web Login with the usage of RDM.
The web browser extension also exist on Edge and Safari. The list of supported browser can be found here
https://devolutions.net/Home/BrowserExtensions#

WHat is the yellow marked option used for? Isn't it possible to use this without having RDM installed and going directly to DVLS?
Hi,
It's possible to connect to DVLS directly with DWL. It's already available for Chrome, Firefox and Opera.
We are working on the DVLS implementation for Edge and Safari.
To use DVLS with DWL, you need to check "Enable link to Devolutions Server" and write, in what you put in yellow, the Devolutions Server URL. It's the same URL you write when you create a DVLS data source in RDM or if you want to access your DVLS web portal.
You also need to check "Allow browser extensions (Devolutions Web Login)" located in the Features tab in your Server Settings in the Devolutions Server Console in the Remote Desktop Manager application.

Thats supernice. I Guess I need to go for a trial and evaluate.
