Importing Private Vault objects

Hi,
DVLS: 4.6.0.0
RDM: 12.6.8.0
We tried to configure 2FA with Google Authenticator, but had som issues. In the troubleshooting process we renamed %localappdata%/Devolutions to Devolutions.old for that client not to get the Google Authenticator authentication. Doing so we also lost the Private Vault object that were previously configured. How can i get the Private Vault objects back?

Hello,

The information's saved in the Private Vault are saved in the database, not locally. This means that if you use RDM from another computer, you will have access to the sessions saved in the Private Vault.

Does your user is using the same account to authenticate on DVLS? What is the data source configuration in File -> Data Source for that user?

Thank you Jeff,

case closed!

For some reason the client used user domain/user account instead of the UPN account where the Private Vault objects were. Deleting the domain/user account gave the Private Vault back :-)
