For me it would be usefull when i have a ssh terminal open that i via a click can open a sftp session to the current active directory on the open ssh terminal. This helps me to quickly retrieve files instead of creating sftp subconnections per host
I justed wanted to write the same :-) And in addition, to open a scp session directly from the ssh session entry. This would safe me a lot of entries (for SCP).

Indeed, the Template feature is only available in Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise.
