I setup google authentication on my PC that worked fine, i then tried to set it up on my RDM on my laptop that seemed to be fine but now my PC will not accept codes from google authentication. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still asking me for a code on startup.
So totally locked out now, can still get in on my laptop and on a VM where I did not setup authentication.
Any ideas how I get my desktop PC back into RDM please?

Hello,
What version of RDM are you using?
The invalid code error usually pops up because there’s more than 30 seconds difference between the time on your phone and the time on the machine.
Is the time between both perfectly synchronized?

time is within 1 second between phone and PC.
Hello,
You will need to reset the 2FA which requires deleting the data source.
Please have a look at this help article to delete it;

thanks, that has got me back in. Should I have been able to setup authentication on my desktop and laptop? I was expecting two separate entries in the google authenticator app once i scanned the QR code on my laptop I only saw one set of codes. I assume this was the issue.
Thanks again for the prompt reply.
Hello,
Indeed you should have two separate entries in Google Authenticator to access your devices.
