Hi Support,
Currently when I search for an item with more than one word RDM only returns results for items that match in order.
For example, I have an entries called "Big Server Password".
If I search for "Big Server" the results will return the entriy.
If I search for "Big Password" (First and thrid words) it wont.
If I put "Big && Password" it will.
This sound like some kind of exact phrase search result limitation.
Can anything be done about this please?
Thanks,
David.
Hi,
I will add a feature request for that.

Hi, it's 3 years after that, but i can't find a way to solve that.
Is there any way to seach from the status bar for more than one word without doing a "whole" match? Does exists a feature request?
imagine that google only allows you to search for one word or if you indicate more than one you must know the order.
if you have hundreds of entrance is not enough one word
I have found this solution in this url that it works
https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/view_searchfilter.html
word1 && word2
It's ok but a bit annoying to write and explains users to add && always that seach for more than one word1
It can be nice to have and option to search, as other search engines and use "word1 word2" when the order
of words matter (almost never although you are searching in big data) and by default do word1 && word2
After that you can check how many users enable this option and change default value of this feature in the future.
Who wants to search in rdm for a quote?
I think it can be useful too, to mark as default at least the option:
>> Field Options -- include folder
Hello,
Thanks for the feedback. We agree that it would be a nice option for our users, so we have opened a ticket to add an option for this.
We'll also modify the default for the 'include folder' option. We'll let you know once we've made progress on these changes.

Thanks Hurbert, it can be useful to add here the link for the ticket to allow people in the future to know what happens with this topic and the state of the ticket
We don't have a customer-facing ticket open for this, but the internal one is RDMW-5615.
We'll update this thread once we have any update.

Hello Luis,
For your first request with the "&&", have you tried going in File -> Options -> Filter -> Mode -> And here select "Treat space as AND".
Please do let me know if this works as you intended or not.
