Unable to find the Filezilla Application

Unable to find the Filezilla Application

avatar

Hello,
I have a strange error to use Filezilla.

I have configured the path for Filezilla Application, but I have this error : "Unable to find the Filezilla Application. Make sure it's installed and check the configured path in the application options."

Of course, I have checked several time the path. All seems OK. I see the green icon and I checked manually the filezilla path.

It works fine for putty or SQl Server Management studio, only Filezilla doesn't want to start...

Do you have any idea ?

Thank you.

Hi,

OK,
tried to reproduce but for me it works.
Maybe it depends on Filezilla.

Which version do you use?
Which architecture-version? x32, x64?

can you export an anonymized version of your entry and attach to your post?

Kind Regards
Markus

Do you use RDM 64 bit? This could explains why it does not work. RDM 32 bit does not see the 64 bit program files folder.

Hello,
I use RDM 64b with FZ64b.
But I know that it has worked in the begin of my tests, but I don't know when it stopped to work, maybe after to do the upragde to the version 12.6.4.0.

Unfortunately, I can't test on an other server.

Hello,

If you configure your session to open in external mode, is it working or not?

I tried to configure Winscp, and it works... Why only filezilla has a problem ?

avatar

Could you try for a test to install it in C:\Filezilla?

Ok,
It seems that even the File->Options detect Filezilla. Could you verify the application logs in the Help ribbon to see if you find anything related?

I checked in the logs, I don't have anything concerning filezilla.

Hello,
Do you think is it possible than we do a conference/remote access via skype or gotomeeting like that you can check in live. Maybe it can be easyiest to diagnostic the problem.

Hi,

The problem is strange, I just send you an email regarding your last question.

Hello,
I have unchecked the box "override path" and now it works.
In the override path I put only the path of the executable and no the entire path with exec name.

Thank you.

Have a good day

Thank you for the information. I will fix the validation to avoid this problem in the future.

Sorry about that
