Hi All,
We use Imprivata SSO in our organization. This application ties to the Windows Gina in some way, I believe through a Java Access Bridge. Seems since updating Remote Desktop Manager to 12.6.4.0, Imprivata can no longer detect my account when I open an RDP session through RDM. I can launch RDP directly from my Windows 10 machine, and when I login to the server, Imprivata "sees" that I have logged in and will then proxy my application credentials as needed. I am only having an issue when using RDM. Does RDM somehow bypass the remote system Gina? What is different between using the RDP protocol through RDM as opposed to RDP built in to Windows?
Hi,
As far as I know we don't bypass anything and we also use the Microsoft ActiveX. Could you try to open you connection in external mode to see if it works?

Works like it should in External mode.
Do you use RDM 32 or 64 bit? Sometime the required libraries are missing in 32bit.

My shortcut launched from the (x86) folder so I assume I am using the 32 bit version.
Could you try remotedesktopmanager64.exe? It's installed in the same folder.

Tried both versions from the Start menu, both version have the issue when RDP is launched with enbedded tab.
Could you try to enable the plugin in embedded mode? This is a setting in the RDP Experience tab.

Negative, no change. Imprivata responded and stated that they "wrap" all credential providers on the machine. Not sure if that info will help.
Perhaps the only solution is to use it in external mode. You could try RDCMan for a test. We use the same ActiveX.

Alright, thanks. RDCMan exhibits the same issue.
