Multi Execution Mode

Hello. I'd like to see in the product a way to type into multiple windows at one time. In moba(x)term this is called multi execution mode where someone could type into multiple windows at one time.In the good old days in Sun, it was called clusterssh.

Thanks

Do you mean execute a script in multiple SSH or really type it?

Just type it into the linked sessions. So I imagine like you can link 2,3 or 4 windows, bring those up and type into a text box and what's typed goes into all 2-4 sessions. So if you're doing the same thing on 4 systems you just do it faster.

I have added a feature request for that.

Hello,
Any news on this feature request?
An old example of how it is implemented in Mobaxterm: Executing the Same Command on Multiple Unix-Linux Terminals (pawanbahuguna.com)
It is more convenient compared to the current alternative in RDM, which is multi-select the sessions, click right, execute script in terminal.
Currently it blocks part of my colleagues from leaving Mobaxterm and adopting RDM.

Hello,

This was implemented through the broadcast feature. You can find out more about it on our help topic here: https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/kb/rdm-windows/how-to-articles/setup-ssh-tunnel/rdm-broadcast-action-ssh/

As a note, we are planning improvements to the broadcasting feature in our 2024.3 roadmap, to make it simpler and more streamlined. Let us know if you have feedback about the feature.
