Custom Icon Quality
Hello,
to get a better icon quality i have created a ico file with an 32x32 image and an 16x16 image.
When i assign this ico file the preview in preferences dialog looks well using 32x32 image.
But in navigation tree the image looks like interpolated from 32x32 image instead of using 16x16 image from ico file.
I have made a additional test and created a ico file with a 16x16 image only. The icon in preference dialog looks small, but the icon in navigation tree looks fine.
I have attached the original ico file i have made.
Currently i am using RDM 10.5.12.0 (Beta). But i think it's the same in current release.

Hi,
That right. We store the bitmap and not the icon. I will add a feature request for that but this is a tricky feature since we don't want to impact the performance with images.

Hi,
so you don't have to support ico-files. It's ok for me to provide different sized images for one icon in any format. I only need a dialog where i can upload the images.
Or maybe i's easier to support svg graphics to render them in any size you need.
