prior to installing the 12.5.6.0 I was able to cut and past from my local clipboard to the RDP session and vice-versa. Now I no longer have this functionality, is that a known/expected behavior or...?
Thanks,
Jeff
Hello,
What is the OS of the machine where you copy text?
If you try with MSTSC.exe out of RDM, do you have the same issue?
Best regards,
Mark Beausejour
I run RDM from a Win8.1 system; and often am remoted to Windows servers 2008-2012r2.
With MSTSC.exe, I am able to copy/paste either direction as well as between other RDP sessions open with MSTSC.exe
I just did some further checking and found that this may only be happening with one 2012r2 server in particular.
However I am fairly certain that the entry for that server was copied from an existing working entry, and edited...
I could not find a setting specifically for this, but if you could point me in the right direction, that would be great!
Hello,
That setting is called Clipboard and is under the “Local Resources” tab in your RDP session’s properties;

Yes, thanks, that is checked, but still does not work.
I even took an entry where this clipboard was working correctly, duplicated it, then edited it to connect to the this 2012r2 server (that was the only change) and then the clipboard behavior changed. I am wondering if there is some setting on the server itself that can is the source of the observed behavior...?
Hello,
If only one specific server is affected by this behavior, it might indeed be on the server itself.
Please try those steps below on that server;
This should resolve your issue.

That indeed fixed the issue.
Thanks for the help!
