Bug with filtering my list with the navigation pane showing.

Howdy,

I normally use RDM with the Navigation pane hidden off to the side. I bring it out by clicking the sideways button for "Navigation". The problem I have is that if I expand the Navigation window, and then type something in the search box on the bottom left. and then make my selection from the Navigation window instead of the little pop up by the search box, it will still act as though I'm selecting what's in the search box. I don't know if that makes any sense so see the screenshot.

1) I clicked the Navigation button to expand the Navigation Pane
2) I typed "SSO" in the search box at the bottom
3) My list was now filtered and I selected two machines from the Navigation pane
4) I right-clicked on them to open both sessions but notice the box by #4 only says View when it should say "Open Selection (2 entries)"

This is because it's acting on what's highlighted in the Search box and not what I highlighted in the Navigation box. If I click View, it brings up the properties of the "SSO" folder which is what's selected in the bottom box.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks.

Howdy,

Just curious if this is slated to be fixed in any certain version. I just got 12.6 and noticed it's still happening.

Thanks.

Focus problem are the worst to fix. I will double check tomorrow if we have found a solution.

We will have a fix out for the minor version of RDM (not 12.6.2.0 which is already out, but the one after that). I think this should solve the issue in your use-case.
