Add the ability to delete only a single entry when duplicates are found en masse by date created

In the Administration -> Reports menu, we have a Duplicate Entry report.

Could you verify if this report does what you need.

Somewhat, the goal is to be able to automate it a bit more by having a date created field so I can delete items in one pass instead of control+clicking each item.

We could improve this report with an action to delete the duplicate and let you choose to keep the most recent or the original. What do you think?
