Hi,
I can see from the evolution of the betas that you continue to add new variable support, which is great. Can you add support for variables in Group/Folder fields? We cascade / inherit object names as we nest. For example, if would like to be able to create a hierarchy of objects like:
Company object: Acme
>Site object: $COMPANY_NAME$.SoCal
>>Computer object: RDP.$Server1.COMPANY_NAME$.%SITE_NAME$
Using the above, I would like to be able to create a new entry with a resultant display name of: "RDP.Server1.Acme.SoCal").
We then group open sessions based on the Computer, Company and/or Site.
Thanks!

Hi,
Have you verified it this is already working because you can access the site and the company.

Hi, David.
It does not appear that site objects support the use of variables consistently:

Hi,
It seems to be a bug with the group. I will verify that.

This will be fixed in the next beta release

Thanks, David.
I just tried 8.2 and the behavior has changed, but now the site variable now includes the entire folder name. I also noticed that the view wariables list is missing from the Group screens.
Hi,
I will fix this. Thank you

I have made a fix for the wrong name. The button for variable is not added yet. You can download the update here:
