Active Directory Synchronizer - non-default port

Active Directory Synchronizer - non-default port

avatar

We have all of our servers set up to use a different port for RDP. Not 3389. How can I set up the synchronizer to automatically create the session with this other port instead of the default?

I tried creating a template, and put the port number in there, but it doesn't seem to take when I run the synchronizer.

Hello,

Not using the template for base values is unexpected. We'll ask engineering to look into this.

Indeed Maurice, I'm pretty sure that's a bug and the port is overridden when we set the host.

So currently this is not possible? Is there a workaround or another solution?

To be clear about what I'm trying to accomplish:

I have about 200 VM's that I need to get imported into the database, all of them are set to use port 33389 instead of default.

Hello,

The workaround for the moment would be to select the RDP sessions that you have imported and perform a batch edit on it to configure the appropriate port.

For more information on our batch edit feature, please consult https://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/edit_batch.htm
