Batch editing the Group/Folder option would be a usefull addition for us.
As an example:
We have some company's who have multiple offices. The groups are defined in their towns. If customers move to another location, it would be helpfull to rename the entire group at once, instead of 10 to 30 items separate.
Thanks.
Hi,
you're right and it's already in the version 5.6 BETA. The final version is expected this week.

Hi Dave,
Just upgraded the beta version from 13 to 14, but I still cannot batch update the group?
Sander
Sorry, it's not exactly a batch edit, you can:
- Press F2 to rename the group
- Drag and drop the sessions in another group
Can you try?

I'd still like to see a Batch Edit for groups come into place. That way that we can bulk modify the security groups across the board if possible!
Hi,
Do you mean group or security group?
David Hervieux
Batch Edit the security Group that is located on the groups themselves.
Hi,
If you select a group and right click on it, you will see the menu Batch Edit-> Edit Sessions (Security Group). Is it what you are looking for ? This will be applied to all the session included in the group

Hello.
I have 10.1.9.0 Version of RDM.
And I want to rename my connections were included into Group folder.
May I do that like any batch rename?
For example I have group with name "NAME" and connection in that folder with name NAME_aaa_1, NAME_aaa_2, etc.
So, May I rename group`s connections when I rename Group folder from "NAME" to "SURNAME", and get SURNAME_aaa_1, SURNAME_aaa_2, etc ?
Or may be there is any other batch rename?
Thank you.
