Replace "connection closed" error message by indicator

Not exactly, since I still would like to see a visual indicator that my connection has been closed.

I understand what you mean. I think we should be able to do this for all entry types and not just SSH. Originally the part of this request we fulfilled was the "remove the modal error window" part, but we must have missed the indicator part. We'll add this back to our todo list.
