Hi,
I'm using Keepass 2.35 and RDM 12.5.4.0 64-bit. The keepass database is stored within OneDrive. In the credentials entry I checked "Set Database path manually" and typed in the path %USERPROFILE%\OneDrive\IT\password.kdbx. The path seems to be working if I'm clicking on the ellipsis next to the database path. Under the tab "credential selection" I checked "Always prompt with list".
As soon I'm creating an entry for e.g. RDP and setting up "credentials repository", I'm able to select the credential entry but by clicking on "Select from List" an error message is coming up saying "Unable to find KeePass database"
The path ist 100% correct and working with Windows Explorer as well within the credentials entry itself.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help,
Christian
Hello,
Just to confirm, we have that message in two variants, one with an exclamation point, one without.
Could you confirm which one you are getting?
Thank you,
Maurice
Hi Maurice,
thanks for the quick Response. I'm gettinh this one:

Hello,
We have a few other customers that experience this issue, what is strange is that it is in response to a basic .net call or File.Exists()
We are trying to find the cause still.
I will talk to an engineer about this. Hopefully we'll find something soon.
Best regards,
Maurice
Hello,
In RDM 12.5.6.0, we have added an option called Enable file checking in File -> Options -> Types -> Credentials.
Could you try to set this option to No and retry KeePass to see if you still get the same error message.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi Jeff,
I've set the option to no. Now I'm getting a little bit more detailed error message.
After confirming the error the window is opeing and as soon as I'm choosing the credentials I seen the error message again. After confirming again, the credential registered within the entry.
So it seems to be working but not a 100%. :)
Thanks,
Christian

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
There's maybe something wrong with this new option. I will verify with our engineering department and get back to you.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi,
We've made some changes to Keepass that will be available in the next patch. Tell us if this resolved your current issue.
