Edit User settings as default properties setting instead of session settings

I would like to be able to change the default action connected to the Properties context menu item of a session.
Default is configuring the session settings in the database, but would like to change this to editing User settings (Edit Entry (User specific settings)).

When a user wants to edit something, this has mostly to do with account settings. If properties will edit the actual entry in the database, this will increase the risk of having user credentials in the global session settings.
