Local sound with RDP session
Remote Desktop Managere 8.1, Windows 7 x64,
Why the local sound is always muted, regardless of the remote computer sound mode?
PS: The standalone Microsoft terminal services client works correctly when remote sound mode set to "Leave at remote computer"

Could you try RDM in external mode?

In external mode works properly. Problem only in embedded mode.
Do you have the RDP 8 update installed?

Yes. RDP 8 is installed.
Could you try to uncheck the auto detect bandwitdh. Just to be sure, when you open the RDP, you local sound stop?

I am sorry for inaccuracy. :(
Local sound goes to muted state immediate after RDM is launched. No active RDP session is required.
Can you re-enable the sound when it's started? I don't see any reason why RDM would do that.

Sound automatically enabled after switch to another application. And back to mute state if RDM goes foreground.
