Hi,
After the last 2 updates of RDMF it is now VERY slow to connect, so when I click on a server it takes forever for the login screen to appear and I just see that spinning circle. Running Microsofts standard RDT on the same machine against the same server works perfectly so it shouldnt be a network problem or something like that. Have tried to do a repair but that didnt change anything. This problem appears with all servers, even on different networks etc so I think the RDMF is the common factor here.
Any ideas?

Hello,
What type of data source are you using?
Could you create a new xml data source to help isolating the issue? Just having a few entries in it to test the performance.
Best regards,
Maurice
Hi,
Sorry for late response. Actually, it seems that it is not only the connections that are slow, the entire RDMF runs much slower than Microsofts RDT. I initially though that all our servers were on the way of crashing as they appeared very slow, but turns out that it was the RDMF running very slow, but with MS RDT it was back to normal. Have tried reinstallation and everything but cant seem to find a way around this. Its running on a maxed out XPS15 9560 so I dont think it should be a case of not having enough performance. Its almost like RDMF was running in a emulator or something.
Any ideas?

Hello,
What version of RDM Free Edition are you running?
Could you post a print screen of your Help -> Diagnostic -> Data Source tab please.

Hello,
I do not know if you tried what I had suggested, but creating a new xml data source would show if the issue is with RDM or maybe with SQLite (which is the default data source type. Is this what you are using?). You can use File - My Data source information to have a summary.
You say the whole application is slow, maybe you could add an exception to your antivirus to either ignore RDM,or the local folder (by default %LOCALAPPDATA%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManagerFree
If the issue is related to the datasource, we would need to enable the profiler and get a few numbers

Thank you,
