Problems with rdp sessions to Windows 2012 on high dpi surface pro

I use a surface4 pro with a surface dock and to external screens When I connect to a windows 2012 rdp session with remote deskop manager on an external screen everthing works fine. but if I use it on my surface display then it looks like what is shown on the attached file. The window is not active I can not click on anthing in it, dragging the application to an external screen solves the problem. But this is not much help when I'm onsite at customers. I am running the latest version og Windows creator edition and I have tried using the disable high dpi menu option but it does not help. I am pretty certian that this has worked before but not in the last two weeks. I do not have the problem with windows 2008 sessions
