SSH Shell - reconnect don't use credential

SSH Shell - reconnect don't use credential

avatar

I'm using RDM 12.0.8 with SSH Shell (not rebex / not purtty)

The initial connection make use of my credential and work fine. (from credential repository)
If I'm disconnected and do a 'reconnect' I'm presented the credential challenge to enter manually user/password.

Hi,

Could you send us a print screen of the SSH Shell entry like the one bellow please ? If you have personal information in it, you could also send it to us by email at support@devolutions.net .

Hello,

In attach, the screenshot.

The scenario I've is:
- I'm connected to a ssh host.
- I move my laptop (from cable to wifi)
- I try to re-use the existing connections.

With the SSH (native ?), the screen is black. I need to manually do a 'reconnect'.
I get the 'Loading' blue bar for a relative long time (>10sec) to finally get the credential prompt.
The same behaviour if the ssh session is established and I click 'reconnect'.

I've done test with a another rebex ssh connection and this is working fine. The connection is automatically re-initiated and credential provided automatically.(relatively fast)

Hi Jacques,

We have changed our SSH Shell integration in the beta version of RDM (12.4.8) we tested what you are looking to perform and we do not have the same problem as you. If the data source that you are using is not DVLS could you try with RDM 12.4.8 please ?

You could download it here.
