VPN sessions do I use -Type or .ConnectionType?

avatar

When creating a new session New-RDMSession I specify -Type 'VPN'

when I read that property back with Get-RDMSession | where {$_.Type -eq 'VPN'} returns nothing
Get-RDMSession | where {$_.ConnectionType -eq 'VPN'} returns the VPN connections

Is it the same attribute but the naming convention is inconsistent?

Hi,

When you use New-RDMSession the parameter -Type is indeed for the attribute ConnectionType in the PSConnection that will create the cmdlet.

We will add the alias ConnectionType to the parameter -Type in New-RDMSession. You will be then able to write -Type or -ConnectionType in New-RDMSession.
