whats the reason that the button "Administration -> Change current user password" is not active (is greyed out)?
We have a MySQL data source with MySQL users.

There are two conditions where the "Change current user password" is disabled.
- "root" user
- using MySQL Integrated Security (Using the Windows Native Authentication Plugin)
Does your user fall within the exceptions?

The user does not fall within the exceptions.
It's a normal MySQL user without Integrated Security.

We are using Version 11.1.0.0
That must be it. We had issues in v11, could you try the newer version?
From the change log it should be resolved as of version v11.5
