Jump host on TS Server

Hi!

Is it correct understood that by checking "Is Jump host" and the second checkbox saying "Force new jump host session for every jump" that when installing RDM on a TS server it will start a new session for the connecting user and will let us handle multiple jump sessions from multiple users concurrently?

Is it enough to install RDM on the TS (2012R2) server and activate the RDM Jump agent ? Do I need to have RDM licensed on the TS?

Correct but you will also have to configure TS to allow multiple connections. I can't remember the exact steps to follow, a quick google search should work.

Yes, no need to register/license RDM on TS. The act of jumping is allowed on a non-registered version of RDM since it is acting as a proxy/salve to the client RDM which must be properly licensed.

Another semi related question, the RDM install on the DVLS server, does that need a license or is it enough with the DVLS server component? What happens when the demo period of RDM is over? Got 7 days left right now.

Hello,

RDM license are calculated per user, not per installation, so no problem to install RDM in your server to manage the DVLS console.

I will send you a new trial license for RDM and DVLS in private message valid for 30 days.
