Hi,
Occassionally when working in Word/Excel/some other application, with Remote Desktop Manager running in the background on my second screen, using CTRL+Shift+Left/Right makes RDM change tabs, even though it isn't currently in the foreground or has focus. It's not reproducible easily from my testing. Confirmed that it's also happening to a colleague on a different machine.
Currently running RDM 12.0.8.0 on Windows 10 Enterprise 14393.576, though this has happened on previous builds of both.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi Jeff,
Downloaded and installed. Will give it a few days and let you know if we're still having issues.
Cheers!
Hi,
I can confirm that as of Beta 12.0.12.0 the issue is still occurring. I've only just installed 12.0.14.0 and will continue to advise on whether or not the issue is still occurring.
Thanks.
Hi,
Issue persists in Beta 12.0.16.0.
Thanks.
Hi,
I will ask our QA to try to reproduce the pattern.
Regards
David Hervieux
Hello,
We have been able to reproduce your issue but only using (alt + tab) Followed by (ctrl + shift + left or right) really quick while switching. Tabbing back to RDM and tabbing back between the app removes the issue.
1-Focus on RDM Press (ctrl + shift + left or right) Then quickly (Alt+ Tab) to Exel, both app should have the focus at the same time.
Is this how you can reproduce your issue ?
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
Hi,
It took a few goes, but yes, this does appear to reproduce the problem. Also confirmed that, once it's reproduced I can ALT+TAB between other applications (e.g. Word > Chrome) without revisiting RDM and the issue persists across this. Only revisiting RDM resets the state.
Cheers,
Reuben
Hello again,
I have 2 quick questions. After reproducing the issue, when you tab between other apps the issue still persist, but if you tab back to RDM and tab back to the app does the issue still persist ?
And just to make sure, could it be possible that the options for the shortcuts "Select Next and Previous Tab" is set to Global hotkey?
You can find those in File > Option > User Interface > Keyboard > Navigation.
If those options are not a set to Global hotkey, I will ask the engineering team what they can do for this issue.
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy

Hi,
After reproducing the issue, tabbing between other applications, tabbing back to RDM, then tabbing back to another application, the issue does not persist.
The keyboard shortcuts are not set to be Global Hotkeys.
Thanks for your persistence.
Cheers,
Reuben
Hi,
This issue is getting worse, now when RDM responds to the key combination, the actual active window (S4B, Teams, Word, Chrome, etc.) does not respond to it, necessitating focusing on RDM then back on the desired application.
This is continuing in the latest release, 12.5.4.0. Persists on Windows 10 1703.
It's excruciatingly frustrating and affects multiple members of our team. Appreciate any advice on a resolution.
Regards,
Reuben
