RDM does not start anymore after changing HDD

Hi dear support.

I replaced the HDD of my PC by cloning the disk to a larger SSD.

After restarting the PC, everything worked fine, excepted Remote Desktop Manager. After starting the program, I got a few seconds the sandglass, and the nothing.
Uninstalled and reinstalled did not help.

Where should I look at ?

I'm curious as to which type of data source you were using, local or remote?

As a first test, please open %LOCALAPPDATA%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager and







Try to launch again. What happens?

An access db remote.

I got the RDM again after a safe mode reboot of the computer.

But...

I have an error message now when starting a Microsoft rdp session:

Mstcs.exe bad image
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\mskeyprotect.dll .... error 0XC000012F

Any idea of this is linked to RDM ?

Hello,

Most likely not.

I recommend to run SFC /SCANNOW

Be advised this may take a while.

Support/Resources > Troubleshooting > Corrupted System File
