After the latest upgrade to Remote Desktop Manager, my Navigation pane is gone
Good morning,
I updated to 3.0.9.0 at the end of last week.
After I did so, the Navigation pane is entirely gone.
I can sort-of muddle my way to one session at a time by poking around in the Dashboard when all connections and other windows are closed, but this is obviously not as intended.
I have refreshed and control-refreshed several times, as per the troubleshooting entries I've been able to find.
I have also reset the layout, which did not help this particular issue (It did however, clear up a mismatch of window size to window content size that just started happening this morning).
I have deleted the layout folders.
I do not have any filters set.
What can I do to get my Navigation pane back?
If an uninstall/reinstall is needed, is there a way to preserve my connections?
Hi,
Could you post a print screen? You can try Alt+F8 to bring back the navigation pane.

Good morning David,
Thank you for the quick reply!
Here is my Dashboard after just having been logged into, then closing, our server "WebTst1".

Here is my Dashboard after fully restarting the program. I was unable to get back to this view today after closing my session to "WebTst1". The UI elements seem to be broken here, too. There is no place I can click or hover to get my Navigation back.

And here is my Dashboard in the "Entries" tab, from which I have been able to muddle my way to a connection.

Hello,
I have the exact same problem, Navigation Pane is gone, neither Alt+F8 nor a Window => Reset layout work.
Thanks in advance
Could you both try to close your application and delete *.lyt from %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManagerFree
David Hervieux
That did it, the Navigation pane is back for me.
Merci
Hi David,
Thanks again for sticking with me! I appreciate it!
I deleted all the *.lyt files and upon restart, I'm back in business, thanks!
