Incorrect screen size in RDM Free versions > 3.0.6 when multiple sessions connected
First, let me start by thanking Devolutions for providing such a fantastic product. We are looking at ways to remotely manage multiple VirtualBox and Azure instances and RDM looks to be a strong contender. We are using a competing solution and migrating is not an immediate priority so I opted to try the free version as I'm fairly sure that a full eval will take more than the full version's 30 day trial allows.
I have seen the following quirk in RDM Free with versions 3.0.8 and 3.0.9. When connecting to 4 or more Windows VirtualBox instances from a Win 10 host, the screen resolution of the first two or three VMs gets reported incorrectly. The VM boots up normally and fills the full RDM free window. All is fine until additional VMs are connected and one switches back to a previous VM screen. At this point, the first 1-3 VMs decide that the screen is 4 pixels wider than it actually is, making scroll bars appear. VMs started later never have scroll bars, no matter how much switching back and forth.
The VMs are a combination of Win 10, Win 7, and Win Server 2012 R2. All are running the latest version of VirtualBox and have the VB extensions installed. It doesn't appear to matter what combination of guest operating systems is used or what the host o/s is (same behavior on Server 2012 R2 and Win 10 Enterprise x64). Once at least 4 VMs are connected to via RDM Free, switching back to the first one opened makes the reported screen resolution increase by 4 pixels larger than the RDM Free window size.
RDM Free versions 3.0.6 and below do not share this "feature."
Hello,
Could you post some print screens or a small video of the issue please.
Best regards,
