hi,

Application is freezing every 30 minutes or so and disconnecting from Database. I have to close application and start it and again.

I am using version 12.0.8.0 (64 - bit)

Every time I open the application, I have to enter my user name and password.

I only have two logs in Application

[12/01/2017 3:29:48 PM - 12.0.8.0 - 64-bit] Info: Windows shutdown occurring, closing application.
[16/01/2017 8:01:51 AM - 12.0.8.0 - 64-bit] Info: Windows shutdown occurring, closing application.

hi,

i have same problems with 12.0.8.0
this messages are gone since i downgraded to 11.7.6.0

Hi,
Do you both use DVLS? Make sure to update to DVLS 4.0.6 at least to get the fix.

Hi David,
thats not possible as Erica said in case of our AD structure we have to stay @ DVLS 3.x.x and RDM 11.7.6.0

BTW:

Uday can try to change Datasource-Setting in RDM,
It solves a lot of Problems for me with RDM 12.x.x.x and DVLS 3.x.x.x

We changed Service Type from: Default (in RDM 12.x.x.x it's the same as Web API client) to Web service client (old-style)

Hello,

Could you please check in the Advanced tab of your data source configuration (File - Data Sources) what value has been set for the Ping online method parameter? If it is set to Web request, could you please set it to None? This should help to resolve the issue.

How many entries do you have in your DVLS data source?

Could you please post print screens of each tabs (Connection, Settings, Advanced) of your data source configuration (File - Data Sources)?
