Hi Devolutions,
I couldn't find any post regarding this annoying problem, so i opened this case.
We are using RDM 12.0.8.0 in combination with RDM Database. When we work in Offline mode and we close an RDP session embedded in RDM, RDM freezes for about 30 sec. We encountered the problem when we upgraded to Windows 10.
Is this a bug or something related to Windows 10?
Can you help me resolve this problem?
With kind regards,
Bob
Hello,
Please have a look at RDM Hangs when logging off RDP sessions
Best regards,
Maurice
Hi,
I have try'd the two steps but that was not the solution.
The problem only exists when we work in Offline Mode.
In Online mode the RDP sessions open and close like they should do.
With kind regards,
Bob
Hello,
Do you have something relevant in Help -> View Application Log?

Hello,
Could you go in File -> My Data Source Information and put your mouse on the last word at the end of the Offline mode line.
This will display a tool tip box. I want you post a print screen of that tool box as well as a print screen of the My Data Source Information report.
Here's an example
With this information, I will try to reproduce your issue internally.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais

Hi,
I found out that the problem only exists when i work on the company network.
They have proxys and filtering and stuff, so i can understand that the network is blocking traffic.
What i don't understand, is that the problem still exists when RDM is in offline mode. When i change my network to an open internet connection, the problem is resolved.
I hope this information will help.

Hi,
The problem i describe above still exists with 12.6.4.0. The problem only occurs when disconnecting or logging off with RDP Embedded mode.
Is there any way to make sure RDM is nog freezing when disconnecting or logging off with an RDP session?
I am guessing that when RDP is logging off it wants som verification of the proxy server and than makes RDM freeze totally.
People from my team are getting really annoyed with this problem.
With kind regards,
Bob Korthals
Hello,
For RDM freezing when performing a logoff, indeed, it's an issue that we have seen in the past.
