Adding SQL Server Data Source

I'm trying to add SQL Server 2005 as a data source, but I'm getting the error message
"A database upgrade is required. If you don't upgrade the data source will not be available"
What does this mean, and what exactly will it do if I agree to upgrade?
I'm using RDM Enterprise v8.0.12.0 trial.

Hi,
If could try the version 8.1. This message does not appear anymore when you create a new data source. It's not a real upgrade it's the database schema setup. Sorry for the confusion.
