Hi,
Tried to use ad sync via LDAP over SSL and noticed that the connection does not work when I use the credential repository entry.
Maybe because I need the UPN method (user@domain)

Hello,
As I understand, RDP sessions have been created after an AD Sync and you have updated them to use a Credential Repository. When you launch the session, the connection is not establish. Am I right?
Do you receive an error message?
Do you receive a prompt to enter the username/password manually?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
No...
I'm Taking About The Sync Itaelf.
I Need To Use Another User For The Ldap Connection And I Want To Use A Credential Repositiry Entry But It Does Not Work, Only When I Put The User And Password Manually In The Sync Properties.

Hello,
Could you go in your credential entry and in the advanced tab specify "username@domain" for the username format and then try using the entry again?

It works, but i want to use the credential repository...
Sorry if I explained it wrong, let me try again:
You have your AD synchronizer entry "X", and you want it to use the credential entry "Y". Can you go in the credential entry "Y" and set its username format to username@domain and make the AD synchronizer entry use the credential entry?

Hubert Mireault
It works.
Just add the "User format" option just like any other entry and we will be fine...

You're right, it seems to be missing from the synchronizer. Good catch, we'll work on adding this.

The username format in the settings for the synchronizers will be available in the next build of RDM 12.
