Hi Guys,
Seems to be a small error when creating a webbrowser session with SSH tunnel.
When selecting Dynamic port and forcing localhost, the session doesn't apply the port number. It works if you manually add the portnumber to the webbrowser address bar but ideally the program should append :[PORT number]
Cheers for a great product, keep it rolling :-)
Chris
I have also seen an error when you extract the VPN
- it creates the linked SSH-VPN
- it claims that the VPN has been linked.
- When you edit the connection it states that the VPN cannot be found
Hello Chris,
The dynamic port feature has been coded in the RDP and SSH types at this time. I do not know if we'll implement it in all of our supported types, but a web browser is indeed a good choice as we can see its often used with tunnels. I'll ask David about it.
As for the refactoring, we'll have someone look at this.
Best regards,
Maurice
The dynamic port variable will be supported in the next RDM update. Try: mysite.com:$DYNAMIC_PORT$

Just tested this... awesome work guys... would be great if the new variable was listed in the variables list too....
Thanks again
We'll list it in the variables starting with the next version of RDM. Thanks for the feedback! :)
