Hello,

If you open a browser like Google Chrome or FireFox as example and try to access https://cloud.devolutions.net, is it working?

If not, could you post a print screen of what you get.

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais

I did. It is the last error message in my post.
I had the site whitelisted on our firewall and can now get to the site on Chrome; however RDM still gives the same error.

Thank you

Could you try changing the service type to "Web Service client"

File -> Data Sources -> Edit -> Advanced -> Service Type -> "Web Service client"

Does that resolve the issue? Was the old value "Default"?

Stéfane Lavergne

The old value was Default.
I changed to Web Service client but I still get the same error when launching RDM.
Thank you

Hello,

If you select Web API client, is it working?

Have you excluded RemoteDesktopManager.exe and/or RemoteDesktopManager64.exe from being block by your firewall?

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais

Yes I tried the API one as well with the same result.
Local firewall is turned off.
Thank you

Hello,

Could you open a web browser (IE, Firefox or Chrome) and paste the following link inside
https://cloud.devolutions.net/api/custominstaller/sendtrialmessage/a

After, please post a print screen of the results.

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais

Could you give it a try again (set it back to Default). We've had intermittent issues with our online services the last few hours. Things look to be back to normal at the moment. Both issues might be related.

Hi,

Did you download the latest version with the zip or the msi ? If it's by zip, can you verify if you have checked the "Unblock" option in the properties of the zip file before unzip (see image). Thank you.

Hi John,

I've made a small test application the tries to access cloud.develutions.net (attached).

Please save to disk, change the extension and execute it. The output, if all works are expected, should be:

Yes it works. The test also works from the application as well when testing the data source.
It worked fine until I updated to 12.02 today.

@pico,
Could you remove the %2C and retry? Where did you find this link?
