Application unusable during FTP file transfer

Application unusable during FTP file transfer

We have some Native FTP subconnections in our database. Connecting to the server works fine, but whenever a file transfer is started, the application is greyed out until the file transfer operation is completed, and we cannot use other open sessions. Some sort of issue with running the transfer in a foreground thread that locks the UI? Should we use FileZilla instead?

RDM version 11.7.6.0

Hi,
We are working on a new UI engine for FTP completely async. We already have it implemented with WebDav in RDM 12 beta. This should be available soon for FTP after the RDM release.

Hey, no worries - good to hear it's being worked on. We have ways around this, so just a minor annoyance.
