This is going to sound a bit strange, but I can reproduce it (almost every time)
1. Open a session to a windows or unix server
2. To make it easier to see whats happends, open a command prompt or shell on the server
3. In RDM use filter at search a Web Browser session, which opens a webpage with auto-refresh (ie. auto refresh every 10 seconds)
4. Without clearing the filter in RDM, click back to the tab with the windows or unix server
5. Now start hitting the "Enter" key rapidly and see how focus is lost from the session, when the auto-refresh on the webpage in the Web Browser session runs in the background.
(seems only to happend when the Web Browser session is Docked, not when undocked)

before finding the issue causing this, I had Reconnect on dobble-click enabled, this caused my Unix session to full-reconnect when focus was lost, because the ssh shell was selected ind my session-tree, this is not good as I could lose connection to an open editor in the unix shell.
Potentially Reconnect on Double-click or Reconnect in general is really bad for running ssh shell sessions)

What version of RDM are you using?
What type of data source are you using? (File – My Data source information, use the "send to support" button.)
When you write about windows server, are you using an a Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP) ?
And for the linux server is it a SSH or Putty ...

We are now running RDM 12.0.2.0 64-bit
Devolutions Server 4.0.3 (data source type)
Linux: Putty (Telnet, SSH, RAW, rLogin) -> SSH Shell (Rebex)
Windows: Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP)
I can't replicate the symptom when using the "SSH Shell" session type, but we don't use this session type, as it never closes the session tab automatically when logging out of the ssh session.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. We will try to reproduce your problem on our side. For the Session tab that doesn't close with SSH Shell entries, you can go in the Advanced tab and check the box Close on disconnect or error So the tab will close automatically.

After some test, you are right, we were able to reproduce the same problem as you.
If you download the new version 12.0.8.0, it should not have the problem on it. I test it the same process and I didn't get any focus problem.

Now on 12.0.8.0
But the issue is surely still there in some form.
1. If I have the web browser tab open and I'm writing something in lets say, the "filter" field in devolutions, then the tab takes focus after the website refresh.
2. If I'm writing in a shell, then I suddenly can't write anything, even though I'm still seeing the shell window., the funny thing is I presse ctrl+A while still seeing the SSH shell window, and getting no reaction, I manually clicked on the Web Browser tab and could see all text on the website was marked, which means it received my ctrl+A input in the background. This could possibly create very bad situations by coincidence.
In general I'm missing some kind of better visual effect for the us users to see that the session we are working in is still in focus, it is very often that when working inside the session view, suddenly devolutions has moved focus outside the session view, even if the session tab is selected and session view "looks like it self", maybe the session view or tab could become better to indicate wheter the focus is lost or not. Sometimes I'm thinking a server jams, and shortly after I find out it is devoutions that moved focus away from the session view.
Hope you can come up with a good solution for this, please let me know if an option already exists.

Hi Michael,
After some test with the engineer department, we found that focus problem occurs only with Internet Explorer Browser. We do not have that problem with Chrome and Firefox. As a Workaround could you try using Chrome or Firefox as your navigator.
