I have a freshly installed Windows 10 machine where Remote Desktop Manager crashes upon startup.
This only happens when the machine is docked and running with multiple monitors.
If I detach it from the dock then RDM starts fine, and I can reinsert it in the dock and keep running.
I have tried both the licensed and the free version. They both crash.
What do I do to solve or investigate further?
Hello,
What version of RDM are you using?
You say you have Windows 10 installed. Is it the Anniversary build?
Best regards,
Mark Beausejour
Hi
Windows version 10.0.14393, Enterprise, 64 bit, Intel Core i7-2860QM, 12 GB RAM
RDM version 11.7.6.0
RDM Free version 2.7.1.0
Hello,
What is your monitors setup exactly?
Do you have a laptop with several external monitors?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi
I have 3 external monitors attached. Two on DVI and one on USB adapter.
It is a laptop, and the lid is closed when docked.
Do you have anything in the event log?
Regards
David Hervieux
Yes, I get two events. They are attached here as an EVTX file.
I also attach files with screenshots of them.
And finally I'm attaching the complete WER file.

Hello,
Could you give a try to RDM 11.9.5.0 which is a preview of RDM 12.
You can download this version at the bottom of this page http://remotedesktopmanager.com/Home/Download
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
This beta (11.9.5.0) does not crash upon startup on my multi-monitor setup.
