Hi Augustin, welcome on our forum.

First of all, I would like to understand your problem. What you mean is :
- "Enable check for updates" is checked in Files/Options/Application Start ?
- A GPO disables 3rd Party automatic update? If it is the case, do you know which one?
- What is the effective behaviour of Remote Desktop Manager : does it check for update automatically or not?

Am I right?

Then, could you tell me if the RDM client is part of a Domain, and if it is a Domain Group Policy or a Local Security Policy?

Thanks for your reply,

-I manage RDM clients with Domain Group Policy -> user configuration filtering on a AD security Group that contain my RDM users. So it look like this :

-On RDM client after a Gpupdate /target:user (i had verify with a gpresult /R, GPO is deployed. And i had check the registry key) i see this :

Hi Augustin,

I confirm your setup and everything is working properly, the GPO is rightly applied to your client and the REG key is disabling the autoupdate. But the Check mark on the Auto Update section isn't removed. That's normal.

You could test with an older version if you would like to be sure, but I just test it on my side. I took your problem like a features request and we will uncheck the box who's on Auto Update probably on our next version.
