Exporting list, exporting "Create Web URL"
Hi,
I was trying to see if there was a bulk way of exporting the "Create Web URL" (Properties, Advanced) for a bunch of server objects so I went to try and export the list into a csv, html or rdp (which ever might hold the option, if it exists).
I noticed when trying to export my list(csv) it has only 3 columns that it will export which are names , host and group. I was expecting to be able to choose more columns to export but cannot find any options to do so. Things like username, password, description field "Create Web URL" , hopefully.
Please tell me what I'm missing.

Hello,
The Web URL contains the data source ID and the Session ID. Do you want to export this information so that you can easily copy/paste it on your intranet as example?

Yes, would like to export the entire list.
My second issue is that when I try to export, I only see 3 columns available for export, aren't there supposed to be more that I can choose to export like passwords and usernames?

If you go in File -> Export -> Export All Entries (.csv), you should retrieve the information that you need like the usernames and passwords.

That does give me more columns but no username and password. I understand this would be a security risk but does the option not exist? Is this the limit of the export functionality?

You should see a CredentialUserName column and a CredentialPassword column in your .csv file.
This will contain the username and password. Does the credentials are saved directly in RDM or you are using an external system for your password like LastPass or Secret Server?

Yes, I'm an RDM Admin.
The credentials are in RDM and not a 3rd party utility.
Attached pic shows the columns available for export, only 3.

Yes, in this window you will only see 3 columns, but in the .csv itself, you will see all the username and password columns.
In that window, enter a password and press OK. After, open the .csv file on your computer, you will see what I mean ;)

Thanks, I just upgraded to the latest version from 11.7.2 now the csv is showing credentials.
I understand now that the export screen will only show the 3 columns.
Regarding the second issue, is there a way to bulk export the "create web url"?

The feature you have requested will be added in the next update. You can export your Web URL in the CSV or XLS format.
To do so simply right click -> export special -> export .csv or .xls.
